A difficult position.
A careful assessment.

A vehicle in soft ground, with locked wheels or behind restricted access needs a loading plan before a truck is arranged.

Tell us why a normal collection may not work

Explain whether the vehicle is stuck in mud, on a slope, damaged or unable to roll. Say if it is inside a low car park or behind a narrow entrance. The team needs to assess the ground, vehicle condition and access before confirming suitable equipment.

Winching and transport are different tasks

A request to free a vehicle from a difficult position is not automatically the same as carrying it on a flatbed. Describe the whole situation, including where the vehicle needs to go afterwards. No capacity, extraction or damage-free guarantee can be made from a brief description alone.

Helpful details before attendance

  • Vehicle make, model, size and actual load.
  • Whether wheels turn, steering unlocks and the handbrake releases.
  • Ground conditions, slope and room around the vehicle.
  • Permission to access the site, gates and height restrictions.
  • Photographs of the surroundings, only if safe to obtain.

Do not attempt an improvised recovery or attach equipment while waiting for advice. If the vehicle is unstable or people are in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.

Which service fits?

Skate recovery addresses non-rolling wheels and careful positioning. Planned transport covers an agreed collection and destination. Tell us the actual problem rather than choosing a truck type yourself.
