Breakdown recovery for cars that cannot continue

A breakdown can leave you stranded on the way to work, outside your home or in a busy car park. Trafford Car Recovery helps you arrange the next step when your car cannot complete its journey. That may mean taking it to a garage for diagnosis, returning it home or moving it to another agreed destination. Tell us what has happened so we can discuss the assistance that fits the situation.

From the collection point to the right destination

We take recovery enquiries across Trafford and Greater Manchester, including Stretford, Sale, Altrincham, Trafford Park and Manchester city centre. The collection address is only part of the job: we also need to know where the car is going. Check that your chosen garage can accept it, particularly outside its normal opening hours, and let us know who will receive the vehicle and keys.

If the car is on a driveway, behind gates or in a multistorey car park, explain the space available. A car that starts but will not move needs a different assessment from one with a flat battery. Mention an automatic gearbox, locked steering, an electronic parking brake that will not release, or damage affecting the wheels.
