Run out of fuel? Give us a call.
Discuss roadside fuel assistance and whether it is suitable for your situation.

Ran out of fuel in Manchester or Trafford?
If your journey has stopped because the vehicle has run out of fuel, call Trafford Car Recovery with your location and vehicle details. We can discuss whether fuel assistance is suitable and available for that situation, or whether the vehicle needs recovery instead. Knowing exactly where you are helps us assess access before arrangements are made.
Confirm the fuel type and what happened
Give us the registration, make and model, and confirm whether the vehicle uses petrol or diesel. Explain whether it stopped while driving, failed to restart after parking or is displaying a warning message. A low gauge alone does not establish why an engine will not start, so include any other symptoms or known faults.
If the wrong fuel has been added, say so at the start of the call. That requires a different assessment from running out of the correct fuel. Do not assume that an ordinary fuel-delivery visit includes draining a tank or repairing a fuel-system fault.
Location, access and the next step
For a retail or workplace car park, tell us the entrance, row or unit and any barrier restrictions. For a roadside stop, give an identifiable location without putting yourself at risk to obtain it. If you are on a motorway or other high-speed road, follow the appropriate breakdown guidance first; our motorway recovery page links to the official advice.
Ask what the quotation includes, what assistance can be provided and the current estimated availability. If roadside assistance is unsuitable or the fault remains, discuss recovery to a garage or another agreed destination. We will base the arrangements on your actual location and vehicle.
