Start with the car park, not just the airport
“Manchester Airport” can describe a terminal car park, a meet-and-greet booking or a separate off-site facility. Use the exact name on your booking or the signs where the car is parked. An off-site provider may control its own gates and access arrangements.
A useful location checklist
- The car-park operator and car-park name.
- The terminal if relevant, plus level, row, zone or bay.
- A nearby sign or entrance that you can identify safely.
- Height limits, barriers and any access instructions from the operator.
- Whether the keys are with you or with a parking service.
Our portable super booster packs can be taken to the vehicle where a recovery truck cannot reach its parking level. Check with the parking operator where necessary before arranging outside assistance. We do not claim access to every restricted area or an official airport partnership.
Explain what happens when you try to start
Give the vehicle make, model and year. Say if it clicks, cranks slowly or does not respond, and whether there are warning messages. A low battery is one possible cause, but the symptoms may need a different assessment. Tell us about a hybrid or electric vehicle before attendance.
Agree the next step and destination
The team can discuss suitable assistance and availability. If a jump start is not appropriate, or the problem remains, tell us where you would want the car recovered. Confirm that the destination can receive it and discuss parking access or charges with the operator.
Our base is at Carrington Business Park. We give no fixed airport arrival time: traffic, access and existing jobs affect the arrangement.
